How Biou subscriptions differ from creator sales, how Stripe Connect handles payouts, and which fees apply.

Two different payment flows
- Biou plan subscriptions pay for access to Biou features.
- Sales from a creator page are processed through the creator’s Stripe-connected seller account.
Creator sales and payouts
Stripe Connect handles checkout and sends creator earnings to the bank account attached to the creator’s Stripe account. Biou does not hold creator funds.
Stripe controls payout timing, identity checks, supported countries, reserves, and account restrictions. Creators can review those details in their Stripe Dashboard.
Fees
Biou’s platform fee depends on the creator’s plan and is shown on the Pricing page. Stripe processing, currency conversion, and other Stripe fees are separate.
